Client Links and Testimonials
John E. Kasper, PhD, CAE, President, Retired
We were an association management company. Judy acted in the capacity of Managing Editor for one of our client’s professional journal and monthly newsletter. In those capacities, she was responsible for collecting articles for each publication; editing those articles; laying out the publications using Adobe InDesign software; uploading the journal into PubHTML5, a flipbook software; uploading the newsletter into Constant Contact; and distributing the newsletter to our subscriber list through CC. We very much appreciated Judy’s flexibility in familiarizing herself with the software that we were using. It made the transfer of files quite easy.
Judy was extremely reliable, precise, and committed to doing a great job. She was reliable, dependable, and very committed to deadlines. She interacted professionally with our clients and did an excellent job representing our company to them. Her communication skills were excellent and her work product top notch. We would happily use her services again.
Ardine Martinelli, Author, Listening to My Life: My Journey through Fear to Trust:
“I am delighted to share the wonderful experience I had working with Judy Jones. Her expertise in developing the exterior and interior design for my book, editing, proofing, and coordinating the production of both the print and e-book formats was amazing. I would not have completed my book without Judy’s expert help. She not only answered all my questions but worked with me every step of the way, sharing the process and getting my input.
More importantly, Judy was a good listener and a gentle guide in the development of my book’s design. Her skills and attention to detail created a beautiful book we can both be proud of.”
Bob Whitley, Author, Attorney on Call: Lessons from a Life in the Law:
“I recently worked with Judy on writing a book, which had been a lifetime ambition of mine. I had no experience or real talent in writing books. I worked with her over a period of several months. She is a real pro—skilled, dedicated, and a delightful person. She was always positive and supportive—and she turned me into a not-so-bad author. Now that the task is over, I miss her laugh and professionalism and plan to work with her again soon. She is first class!”
Nicholas John Briejer, Author, The Sweet Dell: The True Story of One Family’s Fight to Save Jews in Nazi-Occupied Holland:
“Without the timely emergence of Judith Jones, and her keen and kind editing skills, my book would still be a neatly stacked manuscript, collecting dust in my office. Working with Judith was unexpectedly fun and effective. She outlined the publishing process in a clear step-by-step manner and steadily guided my project forward. Judith is patient, realistic, and efficient, and she clearly knows her business. The final product—my book, now available to the world—provides ample proof of her craft.”
Michael DeLon, Publisher, Paperback Expert
“Judy is a tremendous editor, writer, and person. We have used her for many book projects and our clients LOVE working with her. She has a warm, friendly, joyful personality and is super easy to get along with. Judy hits every deadline and produces extremely good work. She accommodates to clients’ various personality styles and is quick to grasp new topics. She creates very good outlines and then crafts the content of the manuscript to perfection. If you’re looking for someone to help you tell your story, look no further than Judy. I HIGHLY recommend her.”
Paul W. Martin, Author, Path of the Chosen (Adepts and Demons, Volume 1):
“Judith Jones is a remarkable editor and overall support person for my writing process. I don’t know what I would do without her. She operates with a high level of integrity, enthusiasm and humor as she works through my writing. She’s very understanding that I am a part-time writer, and don’t always get to write as much as either of us would like. Judy is a great person to work with, and I haven’t hesitated to recommend her to anyone I know working on a writing project.”
Shannon O’Donnell, Author, Save the Bones:
“Judith was both editor and publisher of my book in 2012. Her technical skills for the page were exceptional. She has a fine eye for detail and for artistic look. Her keen sense of story made the book better on every level.
The prospect of getting a book to print and to e-reader readiness was daunting for this author. Judith handled it all professionally and with good humor. Tasks were accomplished on time. The finished product has garnered many compliments. I’m very happy to be working with her on a second book.”
Rev. Katherine C. Keough, Author, All Creation Waits: The Unfulfilled Promise of Christianity:
“When I was writing my book “All Creation Waits” I knew I needed help with the finishing touches, like the editing, creating a cover, and publishing. The experience of working with Pilgrim Spirit Communications to complete my book was wonderful. I returned to Pilgrim Spirit Communications when I decided to turn the book into an e-book. I will definitely use this publisher again.”
Eileen Knoff, D.Min., Editor, Seasoning the Soul: Images and Reflections with a Celtic Flavor to Bless Your Year:
“Judy Jones of Pilgrim Spirit Communications provided me vital help to complete my book and upload it for sale. Judy’s keen editorial eye was invaluable, as was her unflagging support through number of rough patches with the publication process. She gave me the needed tools and encouragement to get the process done. I certainly recommend her services to others wanting to self-publish and sell online.”
Beth Elliott, Executive Director, FISH Food Banks:
“It is refreshing to work with a professional like Judith Jones. Give her an idea or a concept for a story and she quickly turns it into an interesting article. She has a way of taking the mundane and turning it into an engaging story.”
Judy Mladineo, Executive Director, Catherine Place: An Oasis for Women:
“Judy has an amazing ability to communicate our vision and message in many different forms. We’ve appreciated her creativity in designing newsletters and program materials. She is accessible to work with and has offered additional valuable assistance in developing our communication and fund development plans.”
